Service2000's Alldata Interface module integrates ONLY with the Alldata Service Advisor program, which is an optional, standalone estimating program provided by Alldata to their clients. As of now (3/04), the only functionality provided by this integration is the ability to import estimates created in the Service Advisor program into a Service2000 estimates. It cannot perform individual data lookups. There are planned enhancements in our next generation product.
GenesisFour is under the impression that as of now (3/04), whether you are running Alldata locally (e.g., on CD or DVD), or Alldata On-Line, the Service Advisor program is always a locally-installed, PC-based program (e.g., it does not run "on-line"). Therefore, your subscription (local or on-line) type bears no relevance to the functionality of Service2000's Alldata Interface.
