Some users have experienced delays when accepting payment on Service Orders. It can take up to 45 seconds for the Accept Payment dialog to display after selecting it from the File menu.

This issue is caused by calculating the average mileage for the vehicle. By default, Service2000 automatically calculates a vehicle's average mileage when you accept payment on an invoice. This process can take time to complete if there are an exceptionally large number of invoices or there are errors in the vehicles mileage history (one or more invoices with 0 Mileage Out).

If you are experiencing this issue, you can turn off Automatic Average Mileage Calculation by doing the following:

1. Select "Run Program..." from the File menu of the main menu
2. Enter "AutoAvgMile.r" in to the box and click OK
3. A small dialog will open with the word "Yes" in it. Enter "No" in this box and press Enter to accept the change.

To turn it back on, repeat the above procedure but and change it back to "Yes" in step 3.
